Quantum of Solace Leaps into 2008

Quantum of Solace starts barely hours after Casino Royale ends. Barely hours after escaping his death, Bond is once more on another mission to save the world. Still hurting from the betrayal of Vesper, his lover, it is difficult for Bond to keep this mission professional.
After catching Mr White, Bond and M interrogate White who tells them about the organization that blackmailed Vesper to steal Bond’s casino winnings. It turns out the organization if much more sinister and treacherous than could ever be imagined.
When an M16 traitor is linked to a Haitian bank account, Bond meets the typical Bond girl – the beautiful, but tough Camille. Camille is on her own mission of revenge and takes Bond to Dominic Greene, a cut throat business man and a major player within the crime organization Quantum.
The mission takes them through Italy, Austria, South America and finally to Bolivia. Greene’s intent is to take over one of the most important natural resources in the world and he is dealing with the devil, the exiled General Medrano.
Quantam of Solace
Greene’s ruthlessness leads him to use his criminal associates, and control his CIA and British government contacts with promises to depose Bolivia’s current government. His plan is to install General Medrano as Bolivia’s leader in return for a barren piece of land.
What seems to be a barren piece of land though is the very heart and soul of South America, the site of its main water supply. The usual Bond minefield of deceit and treachery has Bond turning to old friends to help him reveal the truth.
Bond must stay one step in front of CIA agents, M, and the terrorists to get to the truth and to stop Quantum in its tracks.
This is a story of revenge rather than the normal Bond love story. Bond again has become an action packed hero rather than the agent with an attitude. But this film is the 22nd in the series, is action packed, filmed in breathtaking locations and should leave Bond lovers satisfied.
